After an initial spike when the first images debuted last year, the market has cooled off a bit as we all wait to see s they really pulled off the adaptation. At Heritage Auctions today there is a CGC 9.8 copy of issue 50 of this series, which actually features a pin-up by none other than Todd McFarlaneas well as Dave McKean, Michael Kalutaand John Totleben, to name a few. It is currently at $110. Check it out below.

His name was Haroun Al Raschid, King of Kings, Prince of the Faithful, and he was the Caliph of Baghdad when it was the Jewel of Arabia. Ruler of a vast empire, he gathered around him the most beautiful men, the most ravishing women and the most cunning magicians of his domain. Haroun Al Raschid was a good and wise ruler, but he knew a big secret, one that left a dark stain on his heart. In “Ramadan,” the 50th issue of THE SANDMAN, Neil Gaiman and P. Craig Russell collaborate to tell a fabulous story straight out of Arabian Nights, the story of a palace of wonders and one of the countless ways from which a dream can be born. Drawing on both age-old myths and yesterday’s news, Gaiman has crafted a bittersweet fable about fables. Russell’s finely detailed renderings bring Gaiman’s vision of a glorious and mythical past to life.
