It’s always interesting to see how many personal items from your favorite rockers will fetch, and if you’ve got some cash in your pocket after the holidays, you may want to consider bidding on items from the MusiCares charity auction, including two limited editions. – edition pieces of artwork by Gene Simmons and a black knee length coat by Ozzy Osbourne.
The auction will be held in coordination with Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, Calif. On Sunday, January 30, with additional items of interest from Keith Richards, Paul McCartney, Chris Cornell, Joni Mitchell, Bono, Tom Petty, BTS, Chris Stapleton, Harry Styles and more.
One of the highlights of this auction is a knee-length black leather coat signed by Ozzy Osbourne. The Prince of Darkness has actually signed the coat four times with the white marker on the back of the inside of the jacket. The item is expected to fetch between $ 1,000 and $ 2,000 at the end of January auction. Take a closer look below.
Gene Simmons of KISS has been passionately interested in art in recent years and two limited edition pieces will be auctioned off in this auction. “Immortal” is a 30 “x 22” hand drawn red, silver and black silkscreen print signed and numbered AP 3/50 framed. It should cost between $ 1,000 and $ 2,000. The second piece, titled “Skull Candy” (as seen below) measures 21 “x 35”. This is a silkscreen and giclee print of a skull hanging in a shadow box frame signed and numbered AP 3/35 framed. It should also be sold in the range of $ 1,000 to $ 2,000.
