Marie was born January 9, 1921, near Fair Play, MO, and was the daughter of Royal Lafate Gannaway and Pearl Fleeman Gannaway. She married Joe H.

Hendricks, on November 26, 1942. They celebrated 63 years together. To this union three children were born, Ronald Wayne Hendricks, a son who preceded her in death; Randall Eugene Hendricks and Sandra Lea Hendricks. Marie worked for the telephone company in Visalia, CA, for 10 years before moving to El Dorado Springs, MO, in 1952. She worked along side her husband in their many.

enterprises, the Theatre's, Swimming Pool, Hotel and Abstract office. Her biggest enjoyment in life was meeting and visiting with people. Marie was always in a good mood and made many friends easily with her pleasant personality. She made many lasting impressions with the young people, when she managed the Theatre's and Swimming Pool. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; son, Randall and his wife, Lisa, of Mission Hills, KS; daughter, Sandra of El Dorado Springs, MO; six grandchildren, Benjamin Brett Brook Charlotte Marie, Randi Jo and Helen Creighton, all of the Kansas City area; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2 p.m., at the Hackleman Sons Funeral Home, Highway 54 East, El Dorado Springs, MO; Rev. Jim Smith of the United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, from 7-8 p.m., at the Hackelman Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery.

She was born December 14, 1927, in Carroll County, MO, the daughter of Burl and Jesse McGuire Parks. She graduated from Norborne High School, Norborne, MO. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. Edith was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norborne and the Merry Mixer Coffee Club. On March 29, 1950, Edith married William Fay in Richmond, MO.

He preceded her in death on August 4, 1979. Edith is survived by three children, Patricia Faye Edwards Butler, Smithville, MO, John Wesley Isom, Carrollton, MO, Sandra Kay Johnson, Kearney, MO; one sister, Sarah Catherine Michaels, Norborne, MO; eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Mary relished recounting childhood memories of growing up on a farm in I Rich Hill. Mary was proud to have worked at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant during WWII and would often reminisce, "We all worked together during the War, because that's what we had to do to support our boys." A beautician by trade, upon becoming a mother, Mary devoted herself full-time to homemaking and community service. With her lively and youthful personality, Mary was a favorite among her grandchildren's friends. Even into her 70's, she graciously hosted her teenage grandson's rock band for practice sessions in the basem*nt of her Grandview home and served as an enthusiastic audience. Mary became known to everyone around her as She was unrelentingly devoted to her daughter, two grandchildren, and loving dog, Abby.

During his CCC days he traveled working to help build fire roads in El Dorado National Forest in northern California. In Minnesota he planted trees, checked dams and surveyed. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed his work with the United States Post Office for over 33 years, retiring from the Air Mail service staff in 1969.

After retirement, he worked at the Ozanam Home in Martin City as treasurer and bookkeeper. Lester was the longest tenured member of the Red Bridge UMC. He was a member of the United Methodist Men's Club; Railway Mail Association and Branch 36 Post Office Supervisors. Mr. Rector was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Kathryn (Pedigo) Rector; a son, Paul "Vernon" Rector; his granddaughter, Lou Ann Rector.

He attended Neosho County Community College for two years, graduating with an Associate's Degree. He served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps. In the service Wayne trained mechanics to make electronic repairs to the P51 Mustang.

He was united in marriage to Mary Etta Dulavey on November 15, 1953, at the Galesburg Christian Church. She survives of the home. Wayne was a farmer who also worked in the Oil and Gas business on Taylor Farms. Wayne and Mary Etta became involved with a group called People to People and traveled all over the world. He was a contributor to the Williams Fund at the University of Kansas; a 60- year member of Cedar Lodge AF AM of Chanute; and a 20 year KU Basketball season ticket holder.

He was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Etta of the home; a son, Larry W. Taylor and his wife, Cathy of Chanute; a daughter, Susan L. Taylor of Shawnee, KS; and three grandchildren; Melissa Taylor, Jillian Taylor and Wyatt Taylor, all of Chanute. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gregg L.

Taylor on December 29, 1976; a brother, Lewis Taylor and two sisters, Mabel Salzman and Ellen Cook. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, December 23, 2005, at the Otterbein United Methodist Church with Reverend Frank Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery on West 21st St. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, from 7-8 p.m., at the Penwell-Gabel Gibson Chapel.
