End of the road for Scotland...
It is indeed yet more heartache for Scotland.
They came into this tournament, and tonight, with hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages for the first time in the country's history.
Well, those dreams were crushed in the 10th minute of stoppage time when Kevin Csoboth swept home for Hungary on the counter-attack.
In Frankfurt, Niclas Fullkrug saved the day for Germany to earn them a point against Switzerland in added time.
It means they top Group A with seven points, while Switzerland qualify for the round of 16 with five.
Hungary still have a slight chance of qualification, but they need various results to go their way.
You know what that means... Scotland finish bottom.
Anyway, I think it's time to call it a night. As always, it has been a pleasure to take you through the night.
I will catch you all very soon!

Szoboszlai shows support to Varga
Dominik Szoboszlai swapped his shirt at full-time with one adorning the name of his injured teammate Barnabus Varga.
The Hungarian skipper was seen in tears at the time of the incident, it unsurprisingly scared him.
Such a little gesture like this at the end of a match to show support is so lovely.
22:00
Steve Clarke: 'It was 100 per cent a penalty'
Steve Clarke, Scotland boss, speaking to BBC Sport:
The goal comes as a consequence of us trying to win the game. The goal is almost irrelevant. The moment for me was the penalty. It was 100 per cent a penalty. Someone has to explain to me why it wasn't a penalty because otherwise, I'm thinking there's something wrong. I don't understand how VAR can look at that and say it's not a penalty.
It was always a one-goal game. We didn't manage to get the goal, we opened up at the end to try and get it. The overriding feeling is to be sad for everybody, for the supporters, and the country, and the players are just as sad as everyone else.
21:37
Alan Shearer: 'Clear penalty'
Alan Shearer, former England captain, speaking on BBC One:
Clear penalty for me. I think the assistant had a great view. It's a terrible challenge, he [Willy Orban] gets caught and takes him out. His right knee onto his calf, clearly. That for me is a clear, clear penalty. I think that is a clear and obvious error. Clearly, he's taken him down.
David Moyes, former West Ham United boss, speaking on BBC One:
I think that's a penalty kick as well. That's a reckless challenge from the defender. We were all shouting here that VAR will at least check that.
21:33
Should Scotland have had a penalty?
I'll answer. Yes, they should have.
On the balance of play, Scotland did not deserve to win tonight, they only started pushing as they got more desperate.
But they can feel hard done by that they were not awarded a spot kick just over ten minutes from time.
Don't know what I am talking about? Well, substitute Stuart Armstrong was away in the area before he was brought down by Willy Orban.
I have watched the clip several times, and still don't know how it wasn't given.
What do you think?
21:29
Roland Sallai: 'Most important thing is that Varga is better'
Roland Sallai, Hungary winger, speaking to the Hungary Football social media:
The most important thing is that Barni [Varga] is better, we fought for it in the last 20 minutes. In the end, we showed what kind of team we are, we never give up, this is our strength.
21:25
Csoboth dedicates goal to Varga
This was a lovely gesture from Kevin Csoboth.
After arising from the pile-on that followed his last-gasp winner, Csoboth was given the shirt of Barnabas Varga - who suffered a scary head injury.
They will be undoubtedly worried about the well-being of their compatriot.
21:18
'The lads are absolutely gutted'
Andy Robertson, Scotland captain, speaking on BBC One:
There's nothing really to say to be honest. We gave it everything. We had to win this game. Both teams had to win and they've hit us on the counter-attack. We've had a chance there and it could have gone either way but that's football.
It will take a long time to get over this one. We had a lot of possession first half without really doing anything with it but we were in control, we controlled the game passing the ball really well. We just had to find that cutting-edge. We knew there would be a point in the game where we could go for it. We did go for it but yea, we got sucker punched at the end. Both teams had to go for it and unfortunately one of us had to lose.
Tonight and for a long time we have to get over this. It's a tough one. Tonight is devastating, there's no buttering it up. The lads are absolutely gutted. It's up to us to pick them up. What I Will say is thank you to the country. We felt everyone behind us and knew the excitement back home. Yeah, sorry for letting you down.

21:06
Late heartbreak for Scotland
Getting knocked out of tournament football is never nice, but that is a devastating way for it to happen.
All hands were at the pump for Scotland, they looked like they were about to strike late on.
But it just wasn't to be, instead, they leave Stuttgart devastated like so many Scotland teams before them.
This one will hurt for a long time.
20:59
FULL-TIME: Scotland 0-1 Hungary
Scotland are OUT!
Major international heartache is all they have ever known and it has happened yet again in Stuttgart.
Kevin Csoboth's last-gasp winner means that Hungary are still in the hunt for a knockout place.
But for Scotland, it's another early exit.
20:56

GOAL!!! Scotland 0-1 Hungary (Csoboth 90+10')
Heartbreak for Scotland right at the death.
Kevin Csoboth sweeps home expertly on the counter-attack and all hell breaks loose as his teammates swamp him.
It's despair for Scotland yet again, the had all their players up the other end going for the winner.
They are left open at the back and are punished.
20:56
, 98'
BIG SAVE! Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Peter Gulacsi that's a massive save!
He gets across well to deny Grant Hanley inside the area, was that the moment?
I thought the net was about to ripple and then I realised who was striking it.
20:53
FULL-TIME: Switzerland 1-1 Germany
And there is the full-time whistle.
Germany have salvaged a point right at the death, and they finish top of Group A on seven points.
Switzerland also confirm their spot in the next round, so they won't be too disappointed in the end.
A great watch in Frankfurt.
20:51
, 92'
GOAL!!! Switzerland 1-1 Germany (Fullkrug 90+2')
Niclas Fullkrug has done it!
The substitute has saved the day for Germany, he rises highest to head home David Raum's cross.
The Waldstadion goes absolutely bonkers, they know that Germany have topped the group.
A huge, huge goal. Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
20:50
, 92'
HIT THE POST! Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Oh my word, Hungary come so close to taking the lead.
Substitute Csoboth is in, time seems to slow down, but he then smashes an effort off the post.
Scotland live to fight another day... for now.
20:49
, 91'
BIG SAVE! Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Angus Gunn is suddenly being called upon with regularity.
This time he has to get down low and deny Dominik Szoboszlai from a tight angle.
I bet Scotland fans hearts were in their mouths then.
20:46
, 88'
SUBSTITUTION: Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Steve Clarke has decided to hook the captain, Andy Robertson. He hobbles off, so I'm assuming it's due to injury.
Lewis Morgan comes on in his place. What a story for the New York Red Bulls man, I bet he never thought he'd get a moment like this.
20:37
, 79'
PENALTY APPEAL! Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Stuart Armstrong screams for a penalty after being bundled down in the area, but the referee says no.
My first reaction was that it was a penalty under the pressure of Willy Orban, and after seeing it again my mind has not changed.
He was through, how has that not been given?
I simply can't believe it...
20:35
, 76'
SUBSTITUTION: Switzerland 1-0 Germany
Well, I am surprised at this one...
Jamal Musiala is being hooked, and Leroy Sane is the man who is called upon to replace him.
Niclas Fullkrug also enters the fray, he comes on for Florian Wirtz.
20:33
, 74'
SUBSTITUTION: Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Barnabas Vargas has been stretched off after a lengthy delay due to a head injury.
He has now been replaced by Martin Adam.
20:26
, 67'
YELLOW CARD: Switzerland 1-0 Germany (Xhaka)
I'm slightly confused as to why Granit Xhaka has been booked there.
he comes across and seemingly wins the ball of Jamal Musiala cleanly, but the German goes down.
And then a free-kick is given and a yellow card shown. Odd.
20:24
'Scotland don't look like scoring'
Stephen McGowan, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
Not entirely sure what Steve Clarke is waiting for here. Less than half an hour to go, Scotland need a goal and don't look like scoring one. Change is surely inevitable.
20:21
, 62'
SUBSTITUTION: Switzerland 1-0 Germany
Julian Nagelsmann has seen enough, he is making some changes.
Maximilian Mittelstadt and Jonathan Tah see their numbers on the board and their time is up.
David Raum and Nico Schlotterbeck replace them.
20:19
, 62'
SUBSTITUTION: Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Callum Styles' evening has come to an end and he is replaced by Adama Nagy.
He can be proud of his first start in a major international tournament, he put himself about well.
20:13
'Lot's riding on this last 35 minutes'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
As it stands it could well be a last sixteen knock-out game between Germany and Italy in Berlin. That is how much is riding on this last 35 minutes or so for Germany. They only need a draw – just one goal – to get back on top of Group A.
20:10
, 51'
CHANCE! Switzerland 1-0 Germany
Very nearly a leveller from Germany.
Jamal Musiala is in, and the alarm bells are ringing for Switzerland, but his shot is straight at Yann Sommer.
I just assumed Musiala would do better there, but he just couldn't find the corner.
That's better from Germany, though.
20:08
, 51'
YELLOW CARD: Scotland 0-0 Hungary (McTominay)
Scott McTominay will not feature in the round of 16 if Scotland progress.
that's because he picks up a booking for an erratic tackle. Very, very silly from the midfielder.
A blow for the Scots.
20:04
, 46'
SECOND HALF: Switzerland 1-0 Germany
The ball is rolling again in Frankfurt.
Germany were stunned before the break and they will want to put things right in the second.
they have 45 minutes to do it.
20:03
, 46'
SECOND HALF: Scotland 0-0 Hungary
And we are back underway in Stuttgart.
Let's hope we get a better second half than the one we just witnessed, cause it was pants in truth.
Can Scotland get that all-important goal?
20:02
'Germany have got a touch of the Englands'
Matt Barlow, Mail Sport, at the Waldstadion:
Germany have got a touch of the Englands on the same spongey Frankfurt pitch. They made a positive start, threatened goal a couple of times but have found it difficult to slick passes around on a surface. Excellent goal by Bologna Dan Ndoye who looks dangerous and might have scored another. Once behind, Germany tighter and not so natural in possession…
19:52
'Scotland need to be more aggressive'
Stephen McGowan, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
Hungary's Andras Schafer fortunate to escape a red card for an overball, studs raised challenge on Jack Hendry. The Magyars have shown a real physical side to their game in the first half. Laboured, one-dimensional, and lacking quality Scotland need to be a good deal more aggressive than they've been.
19:51
'Germany’s playmakers struggling'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
Kai Havertz has been impressive at this tournament so far but isn’t having a great night here. With Germany’s playmakers struggling to find passes between the red defensive wall, they could do with a little more physical threat from Havertz when they attack from the flanks. But as we know, it’s not really the Arsenal man’s game.
19:47
HALF-TIME: Switzerland 1-0 Germany
Well, was anybody expecting this.
Germany find themselves behind in Frankfurt thanks to Dan Ndoye's first international goal for Switzerland.
you can tell this German side are not used to being behind, all their potency faded away after conceding.
They really need this break now. Can they come back firing after it?
19:47
HALF-TIME: Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Dominik Szoboszlai has half a chance to give Hungary the lead from distance, but he blasts it miles over.,
And there goes the whistle for half-time.
That wasn't the highest quality of football I have ever seen, far from it in truth.
Both sides have struggled to really get going in this one, but Hungary have still fashioned some chances.
Willy Orban had the bets of them, and he should have scored, but it may have been offside anyway.
There is still plenty to play for in this one.
19:46
, 45'
YELLOW CARD: Scotland 0-0 Hungary (Schafer)
Now that is a nasty challenge.
Andras Schafer is set to race through on goal, but Jack Hendry produces a fabulous tackle to knick the ball from him.
As he gets his leg to the ball, Schafer accidentally stamps on the defender, and he gets a yellow card for his troubles.
19:43
, 41'
BIG CHANCE! Scotland 0-0 Hungary
Willy Orban, you have to score that!
Dominik Szoboszlai swings in a delightful free-kick into the back post for Orban to attack, he looks set to nod him.
But he can't keep his effort on target, and I really don't know how. It looks like a piece of cake.
Will Hungary rue that missed chance?
19:40
, 39'
YELLOW CARD: Switzerland 1-0 Germany (Tah)
Jonathan Tah, you silly, silly boy...
The Germany defender will not play part in their round of 16 tie as he has just been booked for a second time in the group stage.
It's a stupid challenge too, he sort of karate kicks Breel Embolo in the air, and goes so high he ends up on his shoulders.
Tah should be a gymnast with spring like that.
19:38
'Real cup final feel about this'
Aadam Patel, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
Real cup final feel about this one. Both sides are looking solid defensively but are reluctant to commit bodies forward just yet.
19:34
'Big test now for the hosts'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
Switzerland have scored with almost their first attack. I thought Dan Ndoye looked marginally offside as he volleyed in a cross from the left but obviously not. Big test now for the hosts. If it stays like this they finished second…
19:31
, 31'
CLOSE! Switzerland 1-0 Germany
Oh my word, Dan Ndoye nearly has another.
The ball is fired up to him on the edge of the area and he flashes the ball across goal and just the wrong side of the post.
It really is so, so close.
Ndoye is having a field day right now.
19:28
, 28'
GOAL!!! Switzerland 1-0 Germany (Ndoye 28')
Well, well, well...
Switzerland take a shock lead in Frankfurt and it's Dan Ndoye who has given them it.
He turns in from close range to divert Remo Freuler's cross into the back of the net for his first international goal.
The host nation are stunned.
19:27
, 27'
YELLOW CARD: Scotland 0-0 Hungary (Orban)
This game has just been 27 minutes of fouls so far.
Willy Orban now goes into the book, and he can't argue with that one.
The resulting free-kick from Billy Gilmour is poor, and once again Hungary hook the ball clear.
19:26
, 26'
YELLOW CARD: Switzerland 0-0 Germany
Now that is a harsh booking.
Dan Ndoye is shown a yellow card for a coming together with Antonio Rudiger, and that's really all it was.
He looks shocked, and to be honest, so am I...
19:22
'Clear foul by Jamal Musiala'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
Clear foul by Jamal Musiala on Michel Aebischer before Germany scored that goal. Could see it immediately from the press box. Good and speedy use of VAR by the officials and we stay at 0-0.
19:21
, 19'
YELLOW CARD: Scotland 0-0 Hungary (Styles)
Now that is a naughty challenge, Callum Styles...
He flies through John McGinn, it's really poor, and he gets a yellow card for it.
The Scotland players show their discontent, they are not happy at all.
19:17
'Not much quality on the pitch'
Aadam Patel, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
We've already had a couple more renditions of Flower of Scotland from the fans. It's quality but there's not much quality on the pitch in the opening phases here. Scotland enjoying possession and Hungary happy to sit back for now. Remember, Hungary need a win too.
19:16
, 17'
GOAL!!! Switzerland 0-1 Germany (Andrich 17')
What a strike that is from Robert Andrich!
Questions will be asked of Yann Sommer, but Andrich has just found the back of the net from 30 yards out.
The ball falls invitingly for him and he lets fly. It dips in front of Sommer and bounces over him.
But wait, VAR is checking...
19:12
'Don't think anyone expected a Hungary low block '
Stephen McGowan, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
Don't think anyone expected Hungary to set up with a low block and sit off, playing on the break. Looks like they watched Scotland struggle to break down opponents in their warm-up games.

KICK-OFF: Switzerland 0-0 Germany

KICK-OFF: Scotland 0-0 Hungary
The waiting is over, this huge match is underway.
There is a monster roar as the ball is rolling and it’s Hungary that get us underway.
Can Scotland do it?
18:56
Flower of Scotland belted out
My word, that may even be better than the rendition against Switzerland.
Every time I hear the Scottish national anthem, I get shivers and the hair stands up on the back of my neck.
The passion is admirable, and once again the fans in Stuttgart belt it out to the top of their lungs.
It's incredible, there is nothing quite like it.
18:42
Dominik Szoboszlai - Hungary's star
The Scotland players will certainly be wary of this man.
Dominik Szoboszlai is an extremely talented midfielder on his day, he just hasn't been on it so far this tournament.
That doesn't mean the Liverpool star won't find his form today. As captain at just 23 years of age, he needs to lead from the front and set an example.
Keep an eye out for him, he could cause Scotland all sorts of problems.
18:39
Steve Clarke: 'We know what the stakes are'
Steve Clarke, Scotland boss, speaking on BBC One:
The starting 11 never picks itself. You’ve got to consider all the options. I just feel this is the best way to start, maybe it’s not the way we finish.
You've got to have the capacity to go out and express yourself in a high-pressure game. You know what the stakes are. You know you have to win. You have to win with caution.
On if a draw is enough:
No, because it won't be enough. We want to win. We want to get four points and we'll see if that’s enough. We prepare almost the same way every game. If they sounded relaxed that's great because you have to be relaxed but you also have to understand what your job is.
18:35
'Germany get a good rest if they do win'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
Much as Germany want to win this game and top the group, it’s interesting to see that they have four players in the team on a booking.
Rudiger, Tah, Mittelstadt and Andrich are all one yellow card away from suspension. Germany get a good rest if they do win their section by the way. They won’t play again until next Saturday!!
18:34
Scots making themselves heard
No signs of nerves amongst this lot!
Deep down they are probably bricking it, but on the surface, it seems they are having a cracking time.
The Scots are in fine voice. The stands are full to the brim and chants are being screamed at the top of their lungs.
It's how it should be!
18:30
POLL: Will Scotland progress to the knockouts?
18:27
More Musiala magic tonight?
Jamal Musiala has been sensational at Euro 2024, so far.
He has been the pick of the players, in my opinion, the best in the tournament so far.
he has netted against both Scotland and Hungary, but it's been his dazzling skills that have really caught the eye.
Nobody has been able to get near him, he's become the beating heart of this German side.
Will he impress again tonight?
18:23
'What a season Granit Xhaka has had'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
What a season Granit Xhaka has had since leaving Arsenal. A Bundesliga winner with Bayer Leverkusen and now captain of a decent Switzerland team here. Sorry to see Xherdan Shaqiri only on the bench. Was a good impact player for Liverpool for 18 months.
18:19
John McGinn: 'The boys are calm and ready to go'
John McGinn, Scotland midfielder, speaking to BBC One:
We try to prepare the same way we do for every game. It’s not every game you have thousands of Scotland supporters outside your hotel. The afternoon nap was cancelled. The excitement and anticipation was growing but the boys are calm and ready to go. We're ready for that pressure.
The manager is a man of few words but when he speaks it's brilliant. He did a really good team talk in the hotel. The fans have waited so many years for this opportunity. We've given them this is experience but we want to give them more.
18:17
Atmosphere building in Stuttgart
The Stuttgart Arena is filling up and the vibes are immaculate.
We all know the Scotland fans are noisy, but my word, so are the Hungarians.
The stands are full of Hungarians hoping to see their side pull something out of the hat.
They are making a racket (in a good way).
18:12
'Steve Clarke sticks by the same formation'
Stephen McGowan, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
Five at the back was a tactic implemented by Alex McLeish to shoehorn left-backs Andrew Robertson and Kieran Tierney into the same team.
Despite Tierney's absence Steve Clarke sticks by the same formation, bringing in Scott McKenna in as a straight replacement. The worry for Scotland: when Tierney comes out, history shows that three central defenders rarely works.
18:10
'Martin Compston a bag of nerves'
Aadam Patel, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
Just seen Martin Compston, who you may remember from Line of Duty, in his Scotland shirt and sunglasses. He's quietly confident of a Scottish win tonight but is a bag of nerves, just like the rest of the Tartan Army here in Stuttgart.
17:58
Scotland and Hungary TEAM NEWS
17:56
Switzerland and Germany TEAM NEWS
There is just one change across the two teams...
And it comes from Switzerland. Surprisingly Xherdan Shaqiri has been dropped after scoring a screamer against Scotland.
Breel Embolo replaces him in what looks to be a slightly different formation, as you'd expect Embolo to play up top.
Meanwhile, Germany are unchanged for a third game running. No taking the foot off the pedal.
17:53
Julian Nagelsmann: ‘I hope the pitch holds up but I have little hope’
Julian Nagelsmann, Germany boss, speaking about the pitch on Saturday:
I hope that it holds up, but I have little hope. The grass is simply not good — very greasy, very soft. It is like driving with summer tyres in the winter. After the NFL games (at the stadium), the grass no longer grew well. I am not so worried in terms of playing the game, but what worries me more is in terms of injuries.
There are players such as Jude Bellingham that we have seen have had problems and risked some serious injury. If you slip, you really risk getting injured. But this is the situation, these are the starting conditions. We must handle them.
17:51
How is the Frankfurt pitch?
Speaking of the turf, I hope it's in better knick today because put it this way, it was pretty rubbish the last time it was used.
When was that you ask? When England drew with Denmark on Thursday (sorry to remind you).
From the very first minute, the Frankfurt pitch was cutting up, chunks of grass were flying out of the ground, and players were falling over.
Will that happen today, I guess we will have to wait and see?
It makes for good comedy, but the teams won’t be laughing if injuries occur.
17:48
Germany checking out the Frankfurt turf
First of all, how cool are Germany's jackets?
I mean, tracksuits in football are rarely fashionable these days, but the same cannot be said about this one.
Anyway, the Germans have arrived at the Waldstadion to face Switzerland and they seem in high spirits.
They can just enjoy themselves today.
17:45
Chris Sutton: ‘Hungary will beat Scotland’
Chris Sutton, It’s All Kicking Off! Co-host, on the BBC Sport website:
Hungary have lost both their games so far but they will still feel they have an outside chance of going through if they win. Scotland were much better against Switzerland, and goalkeeper Angus Gunn played really well, but I am still worried about their defence.
I am hoping that Scotland get a result, but I actually think that Hungary will beat them. Sorry, Scotland, because I really want you to win. You’ve had the best fans at the tournament but I just think you lack quality in certain areas.
17:44
Scotland arrive in Stuttgart
Now it's time to get excited!
Scotland's players have arrived at the Stuttgart Arena and are scouting out the turf.
I mean, they are all looking very serious, and game faces are well and truly on.
They know just how huge tonight is, you can see it in their eyes.
17:41
'Back at the scene of the crime'
Ian Ladyman, Mail Sport Football Editor, at the Waldstadion:
Well, it feels strange to be back at the scene of the crime. It was only three nights ago that England drew here in Frankfurt against Denmark
This time it’s the hosts Germany and I am excited. Can’t make a prediction until I see the German team though Will it be full strength on this strange, soft, and frankly quite dangerous pitch?
17:38
Three in a row for Germany?
It’s fair to say, Germany have been balling out this tournament.
They have scored seven goals already, only conceded one, and have qualified for the knockouts after winning their first two games.
If they beat Switzerland tonight, they will become the first host national to win all three group matches since the Netherlands in 2000.
I would back them to do so as well.
17:35
'Scotland have vowed to win for Tierney'
Stephen McGowan, Mail Sport, at the Stuttgart Arena:
The Scotland dressing room in the Stuttgart Arena has Kieran Tierney’s jersey hanging from a peg despite the Arsenal defender’s tournament being over. Stretchered off from the 1-1 draw against Switzerland, Scotland players have vowed to win it for KT. Let’s see if they can walk the walk.

Steve Clarke: ‘We know we have to win’
Steve Clarke, Scotland boss, speaking on Saturday:
The whole tournament is a sense of occasion. For Scotland, the first major overseas tournament since 1998. I was still playing then, that was a long time ago. You can see how much the supporters out here are enjoying themselves. I am sure the five million at home are also engrossed in the tournament. It’s not just about this game, it’s about all the games.
We know we have to win the game to progress to the next round and that’s what we’ll try to do. We’ve been in this position before but hopefully we can show that we’ve learned a few lessons. We had a really good training session and when they cross the white line they have to put that into practice and hopefully you see the results at the end.
17:22
How can Scotland progress?
Let’s be honest, they just need to win.
If they draw, it is still technically plausible, but extremely unlikely. They would need lots of other results to go their way.
Scotland can’t let too much come down to chance. Win tonight and they will practically be through. Four points is usually enough for qualification as a third-placed side.
They can technically still finish second, but it would require Switzerland to lose to Germany and a six-goal swing.
So, a squeaky 1-0 will surely do, right?
At the moment they sit bottom of the third-placed team rankings. The top four will qualify, so that is the big aim for the Scots.
It’s certainly achievable.
17:18
Scottish takeover Stuttgart
Not to be outdone by the Germans, the Tartan Army are also enjoying themselves.
Thousands, and thousands of Scotland fans have travelled to Stuttgart for tonight's crunch match, and it looks like they are enjoying themselves.
The Scottish have arguably been the best supporters this tournament, their back of the team has been unmatched.
Just look at the sea of blue, it's a sight to behold.
17:13
Germany fans in party mode
Now this looks like a right laugh, doesn't it?
It's not surprising that the German party has already started ahead of their clash with Switzerland, I mean, they are already through.
I have seen so many videos circulating of this Saxophonist getting the vibe going in Frankfurt, and I must say, it makes me want to join in.
Just look at the atmosphere, it's incredible.
17:10
Top two face off in Frankfurt
There is not as much on this game, but don’t let that fool you, it’s still set up to be a belter.
Both Germany and Switzerland have been playing some sublime stuff in recent times, both before and during the tournament.
The hosts have to be the favourites for this game, I mean, they have been in scintillating form so far this tournament.
In fact, they have my backing to go on and win the whole thing. Yep, that’s how good I think they are.
But Switzerland will give them a game, that’s for sure.

John McGinn: ‘We can write our name into the history books’
John McGinn, Scotland midfielder, speaking on Saturday:
We've obviously had a lot of injuries along the way - but us Scots are best at enduring adversity. Hopefully we can prove a lot of people wrong. We have players who've been involved in high-pressure matches, but we're not feeling pressure, we feel anticipation about being that team who changes things for Scottish football.
I don't think a lot of people across Europe thought we could do it, so we want to be the ones who do. We all know the magnitude of the occasion. We have the chance to write our name into the history books.
