Links in January to Bueno and Beck 7 months down the line and the only 2 left backs linked have been Bueno and Beck.

What are our board actually doing? Can we not identify any other left back in world football? What work do our scouts if we even have any do? But don’t worry will continue to shout at everyone outside of Scotland that we’re a big club yet we’re ran like we’re at the bottom end of the championship.

Birmingham got relegated from the championship last season and they’ve spent more money than us this summer.

Mixture of injury/Dodgson being more physical.

This summer has been brutal. Tried my best to happy clap as I know a lot of it stems from boredom and no football, but it’s been so slow.

I get that Celtic have been really quiet but it does appear to me that they’re really kicking the arse out of the support and it’s very difficult to justify.

Part of it is the knowledge that if the other lot had £100m in the bank they’d have £200m spent but our club would have us believe they can’t even give it away….

Exactly this. Getting rid of the deadwood is just an expense we have to bear. It should be made clear to show the real cost of our failed recruitment model. Instead, we protect the financial bottom line by deliberately downgrading the quality of the team... even though we know this will have a bigger impact on our revenue.

The time to strengthen for the CL qualifiers next year is now. Not next summer. It's so eff obvious that it hurts. To save ourselves a few million this year we make it hugely more likely that we will miss out on several tens of millions next year.

Disclaimer- I don’t rate Owen Beck and don’t particularly want to sign him.

But nothing about the clubs transfer policy makes sense. Bernabei was £3.75m, Bolingoli was £3m. Two total punts, coming from Argentina and Austria respectively, with no experience in the Scottish game.

And we’re baulking at £3m on a guy who could be described as significantly less of a risk? What the eff is going on??

This is absolute wink.

I think the board need to realise several things.

It's going to cost upwards of £5m to improve at CB. We can't have a project next to CCV. We need someone with experience.

They'll need to be creative to replace O'Riley. This is where we need to improve scouting. Someone mentioned Breivik but I liked that Romsas who played with Tromso. Needs to be some actual thought about what we need in that role.

It's going to cost a lot more and will need to be player of higher caliber to replace Greg Taylor. I don't think Beck gets in the team ahead of GT3.

If Idah is costing north of £6m to sign then unless our scouting improves our third choice is going to be awful.

We really need to waken the eff up.

Boli came in along with Jullien at £7m and Bernabei along with CCV and Jota permanent deals that were over £10m combined.

How we’re going backwards so far from then is a total mystery to me.
