After several weeks of waiting, I finally got the chance to watch Underrated, a documentary on Apple TV+ featuring Stephen Curry."Underrated: Stephen Curry" is a TV series that sheds light on the incredible journey of NBA superstar Stephen Curry, exploring his rise to prominence and the challenges he faced along the way. As with any inspiring story, there are valuable lessons that can be learned from his experiences and achievements which can also be applied to personal and work:1. Resilience in the Face of Doubt: Stephen Curry encountered skepticism and doubts about his abilities, particularly due to his smaller stature for an NBA player. Employees sometimes feels this way, but with the right attitude and support system, one can move forward. 2. Embrace Uniqueness: Curry didn't fit the typical mold of a traditional NBA player, but he embraced his unique skills and playing style. Rather than trying to conform to others' expectations, he leveraged his strengths, such as his incredible shooting and ball-handling abilities, to revolutionize the game. Know when to use your strengths and embrace your weakness. 3. Hard Work and Dedication: Behind Curry's awe-inspiring performances is an unwavering work ethic. He consistently put in the time and effort to refine his skills, ensuring he was always prepared physically and mentally for each game. As the saying goes, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a HABIT."4. Overcoming Adversity: Like any successful individual, Curry faced setbacks and injuries. However, he demonstrated the ability to bounce back, displaying mental toughness and perseverance during challenging times. Grit and resiliency at its' finest.5. Humility in Success: Despite achieving tremendous success and acclaim, Curry remains grounded and humble. He never forgets his roots and acknowledges the contributions of those around him.#justsaying #thoughtsforlife

Thank you so much TraiCon India Private Limited for inviting me again as one of your speakers for the #WorldHRSummit2024 with the theme "Revolutionizing Workplaces, Cultivating Talent & Shaping Future" held at Heritage Hotel Manila. My topic on "The Future of Work: HR’s Role in Building Agile Organizations" for Day 1 zooms in on how critical HR and Agile HR mindset is in supporting and enhancing an agile organization. By adopting an agile HR mindset, HR departments can become enablers of agile transformations, fostering a work environment that supports agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement.I always love gracing such event since apart from being a speaker, I also get to activate my learner hat hearing key topics as well shared by my co-presenters and speakers.Looking forward for the next event!#WorldHRSummit2024#WeAreEtaily#HR#agilemindset#agilehr

This week has been a tiring one as we close the first half of 2024. Just when you are about to cap off the work week and the month, comes a heart warming remark from one of our employees. Moments like these remind us why we are here in our chosen profession as HR. In these moments, we tend to realize that all the hard work is truly worthwhile. HR is not a job, for me, it is a Calling. If you want to fundamentally impact people’s lives, then you are in the right profession. Some may say it is a thankless job, but simply put, HR has multiple roles that impact both the organization and that of the people/employees who are the most important asset. And that is why HR truly matters!#hrmatters#HRcares#WeAreEtaily#HRthoughts

🎓 Honored and Grateful! 🎓Thrilled to announce that I've been invited back to my high school alma mater, Cavite Science Integrated School (formerly Cavite National Science High School), as a guest speaker during their Commencement Exercises last May 30, 2024. 🌟Returning to the halls where I first discovered my passion and purpose is truly a full-circle moment. CSIS played a pivotal role in shaping my character and instilling a goal-driven mindset, and I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to pay it forward. 26 years after seems like yesterday!Thank you, Cavite Science Integrated School, for this incredible opportunity to give back to the place that will always hold a special place in my heart. I can't wait to reconnect with fellow alumni and make a meaningful impact together! Congratulations to batch 2024, continue living the values instilled by our school.#AlumniPride #PayingItForward #GuestSpeaker #Gratitude #Inspiration #GoalDrivenMindset
